Our curriculum calls for my students to read "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. My students' love for reading is blossoming; I don't want it to end here. I want them to be able to continue in their search for knowledge while continuing the series. Watching my students grow in their love for literature has been the greatest gift as an English teacher. These students are from low-income area and all do not have the resources available to them to get reading materials outside of school. This will be the perfect chance for me to build our classroom library.

About my class
