All students need to feel safe at school. I'm requesting a Social and Emotional Foundation Kit. This kit will help me create a safe play/work space for kids to sort, share, and work through their emotions. Not only will children be given a private/safe space to self-sooth, they will be given the tools needed to help name the emotions they are feeling, and teach them appropriate ways to handle their emotions, thus allowing them to calmly return to class. The books, Flower Feelings Learning Kit, and puzzles are all items children will be able to put into their self-regulation tool-kit to help them on their way to social and emotional well-being.

About my class
