Having these real life experiments, students will be able to get an up close view of science in action! I have three second grade classes that will take part in each experiment. Each individual student will creat a journal of each project and witness the changes that happen on a daily/weekly basis. For a month, students will be able to plant and grow a Venus fly trap, view ants and ladybugs living in their own environments, and watch caterpillars become butterflies. If we were to get these materials, we would be able to provide students with the true experience they hope for. Live science in action!
