The mission of this project is to involve our students and teach our students the importance of making a difference is people's lives. The focus will be the making of double-lined "no sew" blankets for infants and or toddlers for the Legacy Pregnancy Resource Center, in Hobbs, New Mexico. This project will provide students with the exposure to teamwork as well as a means of giving back to the community. Teachers will facilitate instructional directions to follow. Overall, teens will feel empowered through volunteer participation while sharing their skills. Students will also gain a hands on approach to learning while practicing skills that may carry over as a life long learning experience.
