I am requesting a variety of books. Students use books to see themselves and the world around them. This project will bring new books to my classroom to allow students to see and understand the world around them while sharing different viewpoints. The more students read, the better they get at reading. This project will excite and empower students to read more and book better readers. We share a book everyday in my classroom and we discuss the themes of the book. This helps build a classroom community that embraces all and helps build our classroom community.
