My students have just had the Media Center opened up to them, so that no book shelves are sitting in the middle of the room. They are very eager to spread out and read or work with a small group. This comfy and flexible seating would give them more opportunity to spread out, relax, and read. I want students to feel like they are at home when they are in the Media Center. Students would use the seating to read independently after checking out their books for the week. I also have wiggly students, so the stools would be perfect for them to sit on so they can move during instruction, instead of being disruptive.
