Hi. My name is Carmen Aparicio. I have been teaching Spanish in a middle school in New Jersey for 6 years. I love my job. It is very rewarding to see the kids grow and acquire the language. Research has shown that in order for students to acquire a new language, the input has to be comprehensible. Research also shows that reading enhances the students' vocabulary. The Spanish readers I am requesting have shown to help students grow in their language proficiency. These easy readers are full of cultural and learning value and will fit perfectly in my library. I am sure my students will love them.
