These seat storage sacks will be used for our reading and math centers. In our classroom, we have tables rather than desks, which works well but limits the students' storage for materials. These storage sacks allow the students to keep track of their folders and books in an organized way. These give them a sense of self-responsibility and independence. I want these students to be able to gather and keep their own materials organized independently. When it is time for their centers they all know exactly where to get the materials they need. This organizational system limits the chaos in the classroom and allows for all students to feel prepared. These will also allow the students to take responsibility for their own property, they must care for their area and make sure it is neat. This will introduce them to life skills that they will build upon all throughout life.
