These bright and colorful materials are sure to engage my little learners with hands-on activities for introducing and reinforcing concepts in math and literacy. The sensory table would hold these manipulatives while they practice number and letter identification, number sense, counting, ordering, sight word recognition and all the skills for which these items are designed. I would use the 4-way sensory table as a math and/or literacy center where small groups of students could use the materials within the tub for play-based learning, interactions with peers, and also to keep the pieces of the items contained. Color coding for groups could also be used since the 4-way tub has different tub colors. So many possibilities!
