'Come, let us gather together' is a phrase that I use everyday in my classroom. Often times however the response is - Gather where? Where do I sit? Where is my space? This beautiful rug has an alternating color pattern of big, roomy circles that can be used as a management tool and the perfect spot for students to participate in small and whole group activities. This area rug will offer my students a 'Home of Their Own'. A place where they can learn and focus. Each day we will gather at the carpet for whole group direct instruction in reading. We will also use this rug to hold lessons on SEL, Sing-A-Longs and research projects.
