A class garden project will allow students to experience science in a hands-on environment while increasing engagement during gardening activities. Students will build skills in teamwork, responsibility, following directions, while improving their individual job abilities. They will feel pride in watching their garden grow from seeds to vegetables knowing that they accomplished this as a class. They will be able to incorporate the vegetables and herbs into the class cooking activities and increase their awareness of healthy food choices. Students will be able to use the important job skills that they learn after graduation and into their adult lives.

About my class
