I would love to have more wobble seats in my classroom to allow students to move a little more while they are working. I have had to sit in meetings all day and it reminds me what students feel like when they have to sit in those hard plastic chairs for periods of time. Having a seat that allows them to move while not disturbing those around them will help them stay focused on their work and stay on task more. I was given one wobble seat for a student with ADHD. It has really helped him to stay more focused and get more work done without it affecting others around him. I would love to give other students the same opportunity to be free to move and wiggle a little more while still concentrating on their learning.
