These materials are something we could benefit from in our day-to-day life! Letting each student have a surface to write on without having to carry around a book or walk away to write would be ideal for my students. Another thing would be dry-erase erasers for each student so they don't feel they have to use their clothes or tissues. Privacy folders would be very beneficial for this active group in our crowded area. The other supplies like markers, clips, notebook templates, would help both the students and me prepare to move them to the next grade. In my classroom we spend a large amount of our time on the carpet, moving around while collaborating, and using materials other than pencil and paper to promote learning. In our weeks coming to the end of 2nd grade, we will be working hard on writing and key concepts to prepare them for 2nd grade. Using these materials for learning activities and management would increase productivity.
