Having access to chrome books for my class will give them more opportunities to research countries individually instead of sharing 5 among 19 students. After we learn about a country, we use chrome books to dig deeper into the country. We look at their famous landmarks with google earth, listen to their language, and read about famous people in history. For a first grade class they really like challenging themselves and have a thirst for knowledge. Now they are asking to do research on their own and teach a mini lesson to the class. Today a student taught a lesson on earthquakes. It was great.
