My fellow counselor and I have created a number of initiatives to increase school climate and teacher morale. One of those initiatives is called the "Sunshine Cart." Each week we surprise random staff members with the cart where they choose a snack, drink and school supply. Since beginning our "Sunshine Cart" we have increased our school climate score from 25% to 47%! We also use the supplies on this list as prizes for other events such as the Teachers of the Month and Chili Cook Off Winner. Our students enjoy visiting their teachers' classrooms with the Sunshine Cart to celebrate their hard work and thank them for their dedication!
