Receiving these books about the Texas Revolution will help our students research and learn about an important time in the history of Texas. After the students research, they will use their new learning to write about a topic of their choice and present their learning to others. Having a variety of books will help them develop a greater understanding of their topic. These new books will allow us to integrate reading and social studies and will have a direct impact on their understanding of Texas history. These books will also support our new TEKS in language arts and social studies.

About my class
