I love reading and I use a lot of books in my school counseling lessons and when working individually with students. Unfortunately our library doesn't have all the books I need to make my lessons meaningful. These books will be used for weekly lessons as well as during individual counseling sessions with students. Not only are they learning important lessons on empathy, kindness or differences, but they are getting more minutes of reading! I see EVERY student, from the highest achieving students to those who may struggle academically and/or socially. By having these books at my fingertips I can better serve my students.
