Many of my students do not have access at home to high quality books and rely on my classroom library to meet their needs. I am new to teaching third grade so the books in my classroom library are not meeting the needs of my students. My students would love to get their hands on the newest books by their favorite authors. When students are able to choose books that interest them, they will become better readers! A new updated classroom library would help my students grow stronger in reading and the best way to increase reading ability is to read! I just know they would beg to read nonstop if our classroom library were updated!
