A lot of the families of my students have several children and live paycheck to paycheck. That means they don’t have an extra $40 to $80 dollars to spend on winter snow boots for their children. The majority of my students live close to the school and are required to walk to school instead of riding a bus. When the weather is bad, they often arrive at school with wet feet. Spending the whole day at school with wet shoes, socks, and feet is distracting and uncomfortable. Please donate snow boots and socks so they can concentrate on learning. Thank you!
