I have a number of students who struggle to get through the day due to the amount of anxiety they experience. Right now my room seems more like a classroom environment (chairs and desks) and I'm looking to create a more warm and welcoming environment where students can take a break and decompress. I am hoping to be able to get a couch, a weighted blanket, string lights, and fidget items for my room. By adding these items, I am hoping to create a warm, safe, therapeutic space where students will feel more comfortable and will be able to decompress faster.
