I am a reading teacher to 140 students. Every year we go through 4 classroom sets of books. We teach exciting curriculum through literacy and enhance their learning. We are a Rural school, so our funding does not meet the needs of our students. I would like to bring them into the 20th century and let them have access to a device which not only enables them to read and learn but gives them access to the world in social studies, which I teach also. It would also give them the ability to research topics for writing and science. My hope is to be able to read our novels on these devices and eliminate buying new books every year that are falling apart and loosing pages. Buying it once would save me money and give the students access to technology that they will need as a life-long skill.
