The desire to read comes from interest and feeling confident in your ability to do something well. The books I have selected will help my students read successfully as well as increase their text levels within a short period of time. Providing students with books at their reading level and that interest them will help my students to become life-long readers. These books cover interests in Minecraft, sports, unicorns, dinosaurs, and Dr. Suess just to name a few. My classroom library does not include any of these topics at this time. These books will help me update my classroom library and really get kids excited to read.
