These books will help with the social emotional learning and processing of my students in clinical sessions at school. These books will assist in having visuals to help the children's understanding and not feel isolated in their emotions. The topics covered in these books will be able to directly help the children that I see process their trauma, grief, diagnoses, and emotions. This is a vital time in their lives to form an understanding and ability to communicate needs and learn coping skills. These books have been hand selected to contribute to their ability to recognize, identity, articulate, and process these experiences and needs.
