Each morning, we start with a morning meeting. We great each other and talk about important lessons. We work together throughout the day to be good friends and to help our friends. We love to read books that help support and reinforce our goals! As first graders, we are learning math, writing, science and reading but we also have to learn how to be good citizens and what that means. We enjoy reading books together that we can discuss. Understanding why a character may have made a choice or what they could have done differently helps us. Also having books from different genres, reading levels and cultures help to grow us as readers as we learn lessons along the way!

About my class
