Research shows that students who live in poverty experience daily traumas in their everyday life. The impacts of these traumas are massive. Daily trauma and stress changes the structure of the brain. Trauma changes the wiring in the brain in ways that impacts the way students are able to learn and it changes their emotion response system. Students living in poverty feel as if they do not have any control over their lives, by donating you will help change how a child views their learning. Flexible seating allows students a choice in their education and allows them to own their own learning. In their everyday lives, students living in poverty lack choice. By having multiple, different types of seating for students to choose from, students are able to choose which learning area will help them succeed best.
