Noise cancelling headphones will help my students fully participate in remote speech-language and learning activities. Good listening influences their ability to learn to both read and write and it greatly influences their social skills as well. The headphones will help with paying attention, following spoken instructions and conversations, developing speech and language, (including hearing and using speech sounds), grammar and vocabulary as well as spelling, reading, and being able to recognize the different sounds in words (this is called phonemic awareness). Homes can be noisy places, please help my students be the best that they can be.
