With 50 year old books and shelves, my students need to feel safe and loved when choosing books. New books that they consume with a passion will continue to grow their love of learning. When students meet in small guided reading groups they share their ideas and begin to write their own stories. Learners who experience poverty and trauma need to feel important and challenged. Book clubs and projects designed by students based on their book series will be foundational and available for all of my fifth grade children. Help my students know the blessings of brand new books and a beautiful place to learn.

About my class
