I have had students walk into our library and actually clap with excitement and ask when their library day will be. Keeping a library stocked with exciting and informative reading trends on a limited budget can be quite a challenge. I want to keep the library an exciting adventure for the students but many of our books have been well loved and I have to choose between replacing a worn out copy or buying the next book in the series. JLG offers well-bound books with a wide variety of focus that will target the diversity of our students with engaging titles. Studies show that students who read score better on their tests. We need to provide a wide variety of books so they can find topics and genres that they will want to read and expand their world of information. In turn the avid reader's test scores will be enhanced by their exposure to good books.
