Quality computers are essential to quality programming. The computers must be able to process the large amount of information timely and accurately for the program to work properly. The software we are using to design and program the robots uses a large amount of processing speed. Our current computers are not upgradable, nor are they able to run the software required. The kids will use Solidworks 2019 to design the robot in industry standard software creating a 3D model prior to actually building the robot. They will use OnBot Java to write the java code to control the robot given a set of commands and controls.
