Leveled readers provide students with opportunities to work with materials that are at their level, thus promoting independent practice and stamina in reading. They will also help increase the amount of "eyes on the text" instead of "eyes on-screen" time. The more students read, the more they grow as readers. These classroom collections will provide students with materials to improve reading skills at any level. These collections will also provide teachers with consistent materials to improve instruction and collaboration with colleagues. As the interventionist at my school, I teach reading skills and strategies in isolation from the classroom teacher, instead of in coordination with the classroom teacher.

About my class
