My students love learning. Sadly, we do not live in a district where they come with all of the tools they may need to succeed or make learning fun and engaging like headphones and books. These kiddos like to make connections with the people and skills that they are learning around them. We are requesting new classroom books because ours are a bit outdated. We would like new books that can engage their minds and get students excited about reading. The books listed were selected and approved by the students. They include a variety of topics that serve to their current interest levels. We struggle with reading currently because a lot of the stories that students have access too or outdated and greatly used. I would love to have a day of reading where students can explore new literature and hopefully rekindle a love and appreciation for reading.
