Dry erase boards are an effective method to practice models and use formative assessments well. A visually effective way to practice different genetic problems hands-on; biomes, earth studies, and group work can stimulate visual, kinesthetic as well as auditory learners in both Biology and Environmental science groups. Students can visually see their colorful work, as well as other students, can leave their comments with the Post-it notes. If there are any mistakes they can erase them, without making their product looking messy. My students learn best when they are involved in the work, and this will keep them engaged.
