Bandaging materials are always in high demand so that each student can use their own and not have to share during hands-on scenarios. Learning how to stop major bleeding and injuries. Showing my students the "how to" and "how not to" hands-on experiences will allow my students the ability to practice in the classroom what they will be expected to do in the field once they gain their EMT Basic Licenses. Gauze will be used to stop bleeding, bandages will be used to secure the gauze to help control the bleeding. The gloves will give the students a good head start in learning that they need to keep themselves safe in order to help patients. The hallmark of every emergency call, whether scenario or otherwise is "SCENE SAFETY" which includes keeping ourselves safe, then our partners and then finally, the patient.
