Our Special Education department is excited to be putting together a sensory room to be used by students with sensory loss. This room will also be used by therapists and other staff members who work with students with special needs. This room will be set up with specialty lighting, seating, swings, light tables, musical items, therapy mats, etc. These items come a higher costs than other things specified for regular education classes. By adding items into our new sensory room, we will be able to reach students in a new, innovative way that we never have before! We have a wonderful team of teachers in the special education program, but we are in need of the tools and equipment to help our students reach their fullest potential.

About my class
