My students will have a broader range of hands on learning with these supplies. This will allow them all to be able to use the curriculum that we are teaching them and turn it into play. At this age play in school is not usually integrated. Having these items will allow them to "play" but in a way that aligns with the TEKS. These supplies will help students have a hands-on learning experience with items where concepts can be hard to understand with our actual items. Knowing these concepts can encourage students and their self esteem in the areas that are usually very surface level. Magnet ends is hard for kinder and having all the items for magnets will help them gain a better understanding of what magnets are and how they work. We study Rube Goldberg systems and these items will allow them to create, build, and test their own Rube Goldberg systems.
