My students will have an opportunity to enjoy reading this 3rd classic chapter book and engage in a novel study. We will read and analyze each chapter using resources that will help students understand characters, plot and text structure. They will learn lessons related around the themes of: friendship, being an up-stander, and self-confidence! Throughout the novel study, students will get to demonstrate their gained knowledge and connections through various platforms: projects, graphic organizers, exit slips, vocabulary tasks, book review, and free write. Students will collaboratively build on the experiences they read about to increase their knowledge! Thank you in advance.
