Every day I am asked the same question, "When are we going to use instruments?" I'd love to use the few instruments we have, but many of them are worn and broken. Our district has not had an elementary music class in decades, and it shows in our instrument inventory. New instruments would help provide our students with the necessary tools to put their new musical knowledge into practice. Performing together as a class would help them learn teamwork, boost creativity, and build self esteem. Learning to properly care for our new instruments would also aid in teaching our students to be responsible.

About my class
