With all the adaptive websites students have access to be able to target their needs, students need to be able to focus on their computer. It is very difficult to focus on learning the sounds of certain letter combinations when my neighbor is listening to a chapter book being read aloud. Also, with classrooms becoming more flipped, where the teacher prerecords lessons for students to watch and then get more focused time in person to receive the instructions they really need, it is imperative that students have the capability of focusing on their work and goals.
