The materials I've chosen will make a huge difference in my student's ability to practice independence. Currently, during writing center or reading class, the student's work is organized by file folders and I or my paraprofessional need to locate the student's folder and hand them the work. With the use of the color coded bins, my students will be able to learn what color bin to take independently. Also, we practice writing everyday, and as a result, dry erase markers tend to dry out quicker than we'd like! Lastly, kindergarten is kindergarten, so cleaning supplies are a must have. :)
