Biological lab skill practice for our high school students is more relevant than ever in today's world and hands-on lab skill development is a key component of coursework that piques students' interest to pursue further scientific study. Offering more opportunities for hands-on engagement with rigorous preparatory lab experiences levels the playing field for all students by giving them foundational skills that make them more likely to succeed in completing college science degrees. The number of electronic balances I am requesting enables all of my students to access basic equipment regularly.
