Once we switched to a 1:1 county (all students have a chromebook), I noticed students were trying to do all of their math problems in their head. They did not want to transfer from the screen to paper and trying to get them to write things down became a struggle. A few days into the school year, I started to let them write on their desks with dry erase markers! This quickly became a big hit and students started to work their examples out step by step. This also helped me see their work while walking around the room as most of them would write bigger than they would on paper. I could also step in with helpful hints with my markers on my way around the room. Your donation would be greatly appreciated by my awesome students!
