The use of a carpet during carpet time is essential. Having a carpet that guides my students to sit will allow them to learn group lessons without the worry of touching other students. Many of my whole group lessons are taught are the carpet so it would allow students to gain knowledge of both math and literacy. Many of these products I have selected are used during centers. These products will reinforce counting, letter recognition, letter sounds, number recognition, and addition. These products are engaging and will make students yearn to do centers every day. It will allow me to see what students know and what they need help with within small groups.
