These books will help build my class library and fulfill my student's love for reading! As a new teacher, I do not have many books for my second grade students. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that interest them. The new books will continue to increase student's fluency, enhance their imagination, expand vocabulary, and strengthen their writing abilities. My students have voiced to me the many different topics they would love to read about. This project will help me grant their wishes! My students this year love animals and science so I included many National Geographic books. I also included numerous chapter books for book club during literacy.
