These materials will help supply our classroom kitchen. We will use these supplies every week in our Cooking To Learn class, teaching special needs students basic cooking and life skills. We will also be implementing a team approach where speech and occupational therapists will be a part of the instruction to encompass as many skills as possible during class. We have a full kitchen, refrigerator, stove, oven, 2 microwaves, a washer and a dryer machine. All we need is the supplies! The children love to cook and they learn so much from a hands-on approach to learning! These skills can be applied at home in their daily lives!
