My class is looking forward to their upcoming unit on land forms and National Parks. Our plan is to read as much as possible about the 61 national parks and write an informational piece about the different parks. What better way to engage students interests than through books about a topic they have been waiting all year to learn about! We are going to carry over study over into Science, as we learn about weathering and erosion and the role it plays in the formation of many of the parks and in Social Studies, as we learn more about the regions of the United States.
