Imagine walking into a busy classroom hearing every laptop saying something different to every student! Students spend 1 hour/day accessing intervention programs on laptops in order to perform better in the areas of math and reading. The programs are individualized meeting every student where they are in hopes of getting them to perform at grade level. Because of the individualized instruction, headphones are needed so that they can work independently and not interfere with others instruction. During reading intervention directions and passages are often read to the students as well.
