We all know that five and six year old children get the wiggles. While we take brain breaks and move quite often, we still have the need to sit when working intently. Stationary chairs and desks offer very little when it comes to the ability to move while working, which has been proven to help children with concentration, focus, and quality of work. By replacing our stationary chairs with wobble stools, these Kinders will have the ability to 'wiggle while they work', helping, not only with the aspects listed above, but also decreasing the chances of an injury from leaning back in the current style of chair. I have hosted students in a classroom with a fully flexible seating arrangement and am super confident in the impact this small, but significant, change will have!
