The items in the project will provide me with everything I need to create durable and easy to sanitize, spiral-bound adapted books for my students with learning disabilities. These books will be utilized both in the classroom and at home, depending on the method of delivery used throughout the school year. With adapted books, students with communication or learning disabilities can participate in storytime with their peers. By selecting interactive pieces, adapted books allow students with disabilities to answer comprehension based questions and show what they know through the use of picture exchange communication.
