Our class is doing more and more with Google Classroom and online assessments across the curriculum. Two-thirds of this learning community are boys who are still developing fine motor skills. Manipulating a touch pad (math requires 2 fingers to drag and drop!) distracts from the academics we are trying to access! Help me give my students a class set of wired mice and headphones for the ability to create and test with accuracy! Think about how prepared they will be for the future workforce and to communicate in written form. Think of all the trees we will save doing more and more work online without paper! They MUST be able to focus on the academics and not the technology itself.
