This carpet will give my students a comfortable place to both read and learn. Reading plays such a huge part in our day, in both a whole-group setting and an individual setting. We all enjoy reading in comfy places, and this carpet will help serve that purpose. Being comfortable while learning makes a greater impact than learning in an uncomfortable setting. Right now, I have portions of carpet cut up where the students are able to take and sit on when they are working on the floor. While this is a great for now, I would LOVE to provide them a comfier and colorful place for learning. It will also help make our classroom feel more of a safe place by adding warmth and color.
